Dan Hurley Student Leadership Fund

The Dan Hurley Student Leadership Fund was created in 2014 through gifts from former students and friends of Dan Hurley ’54. Recognizing the importance of learning experiences outside the classroom, the Donors wanted to give student leaders a financial incentive to secure an internship experience that would further enhance their Potsdam education. Thus, the Donors chose to designate the Hurley Fund for an internship scholarship to be administered as follows.
Student recipients shall be selected according to the following criteria:

The student must be a “rising” junior enrolled full time
Student must demonstrate strong leadership by being actively and effectively involved in organizations or clubs that positively impact SUNY Potsdam and its students.
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
