Fishbeck Foundation Scholarship

The Fishbeck Foundation Scholarship, established by the Ronald and Teresa Fishbeck in 2017, is the couple’s second scholarship endowment at SUNY Potsdam.
The goal of the Fishbeck’s second scholarship is to provide significant financial assistance toward the cost of attendance to outstanding students preparing for a career in the arts or sciences.
To qualify for the Fishbeck Foundation Scholarship, a student must:

1. Have a declared major from the following eligible majors: Art Education, Art History, Art Studio, Dance, Graphic Design & New Media, Theatre, Theatre Education, Visual Arts, Computer Science, Mathematics, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, or Physics
2. The recipient must have financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office
3. Recipient must be at least a “rising sophomore” who shows great promise of being successful in their field
4. Candidates must have achieved an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and a 3.25 in the major
