Student Success Assistant - Graduate Assistantship (GA)
Graduate Assistant (GA) positions cover $5000 in tuition in both the fall and spring semesters.
There is a stipend of $1250 in both the fall and spring semesters with a service commitment of 20 hours per week when classes are in session.

Description
Bridges Program
- Conducting small group meetings biweekly
- Providing advising and academic support workshops
- General office tasks (appointment reminders, bulletin Boards, sharing events/activities)
- Outreach to faculty to do academic check-ins throughout the semester, follow up with students
Academic Mentoring Program (AMP)
- Support students on academic probation
- Individual goal-setting and ongoing academic support
- Providing study skills and time management assistance
- Follow up on academic Progress Survey flags for assigned students
Student Success Center (SSC)
- Work with SSC staff to create marketing materials
- Promote SSC services through social media
- Assist in outreach to students in academic difficulty
Required Qualifications:
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word; strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word; desire to work with undergraduate students in a support capacity; willingness to meet with students in-person and virtually
