Charles Fowler Scholarship

The Charles Fowler Arts Scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate students who are pursuing an academic major in an arts area. The following criteria will be considered:

1. Intent and potential to establish a career in teaching,
2. Interest and ability in pursuing across-the-arts studies (e.g., a major in one art, minor in another),
3. Exhibit financial need,
4. Talent and promise as determined by faculty recommendations

The award will be made at the end of the first year, sophomore or junior year and is renewable if deserved according to the criteria. If applicants do not meet the criteria, no award need be made, and the income will be reinvested in the endowment account to ensure growth.
