Susan H Dierks '75 Scholarship for Early Childhood Education

The Susan H. Dierks ’75 Scholarship for Early Childhood Education is awarded:

1. To SUNY Potsdam rising junior (entering his or her junior year) majoring in Early Childhood Education; or to a Jefferson Community College student enrolled in the jointly registered Early Childhood/Childhood Education program with SUNY Potsdam who will enter SUNY Potsdam as a junior
2. The student must have completed two years of study at SUNY Potsdam or at Jefferson Community College, earned a 3.0 GPA or higher, and show a commitment to working with young children.

The scholarship may be renewed up to an additional year, as long as the student maintains a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and remains an Early Childhood major.
