The recipients of the Eileen Goss Whelley Scholarship for Student Leaders shall be selected according to the following criteria:
The recipients of the Eileen Goss Whelley Scholarship for Student Leaders shall be selected according to the following criteria:
#Student must have at least junior standing.
- Student must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
- Student must be pursuing an internship experience that takes place outside of Potsdam and the North Country community, in order to broaden the student’s perspective and experiences in their field.
- Whenever possible, the recipient shall be asked to reflect and share information about the experience with other students interested in pursuing an internship.
- Should the principal of said endowed fund grow large enough to accommodate additional scholarships, the College may choose to do so.
- A portion of the scholarship funds may be used for non-tuition expenses.
